When the mouse pointer or finger is pressed down directly on the heart and lifted up, the arrow will be shot through the heart after about a 2 second delay which is similar to someone drawing back a bow, holding it for a moment, and then releasing the arrow and string; and after about 1 second after the arrow has shot through the heart, the texts will shoot one after another with about a 1 second delay between them.

I don't believe in cupid,
Nor the idiom: the heart wants what the heart wants,
Nor that love is some uncontrollable mystical or magical feeling or force,
But it sure feels like I've been shot by the arrow of love.
But I don't believe it was shot by cupid nor from any mythological being;
But by you, your heart; your patients, kindness, support, and faithfulness;
And by all your expressions and actions of love.
I believe true love is patient, kind, gentle, faithful, committed, enduring;
It is an act of the will, a choice;
And that 1 Corinthians 13 KJV describes the greatest type of love.
To end, I say with all my heart:
I will do my best to give and demonstrate the greatest type of love to you.
I Love You.

When a heart piece is dragged to and over or near its matching outline that's in the center of the browser window and the mouse button is released or the finger is lifted off of the screen, the heart piece will position itself over its matching outline. Once all the heart pieces are over their matching outlines a complete heart will appear. And then the ecard's texts are smoothly revealed one after another.
